It’s on. It’s on like Donkey Kong.
A few weeks ago, I told you about a fundraiser we’re doing here at Notes From the Bunker. Because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and because I got tired of seeing all the pointless “post your bra color to raise breast cancer awareness” stuff I was seeing on Facebook and Twitter, I decided to put my money where my mouth is and do a fundraiser for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation ( a great organization that does something tangible and real to fight breast cancer).
It’s a great cause, but we know that’s not enough to get people to donate their hard-earned money in this tough economy. So we came up with a little…incentive:
Women in bras.
That’s right, if we raise $1000 by November 1, we’ll post pictures of (as of this writing, though the number might increase) seven well-known Twitter folks and bloggers (and believe me, these are some smokin’-hot ladies). Our list thus far includes:
